Push is common poker slang for going all-in. It is named because a player will sometimes literally push all their chips into the center of the table in one motion. Sometimes, 'push' is used in combination with the 'all-in' term (as in 'She pushed all-in once she hit the turn'), but it can also be used with no qualifiers to indicate going all-in ('On the turn, she pushed and everyone else folded').

- Jul 16, 2018 What does it mean to shove in poker? It simply means you move all-in, putting either all your chips or money on the line. For example, if you hold A♦A♠, you'd be looking for a good spot to shove and, hopefully, double up.
- The charts below show the Nash Equilibrium strategies for two player push-or-fold NLHE. This is a simplified game where the SB is only allowed to go all-in.
